In the studio

I’ve mixed a CD for my brother featuring some great Sydney jazz musicians; Chris O’dea on tenor sax, Stan Valacos double bass and the boss Andrew Dickeson on drums. Brother Ian and I also recorded last week with Australian jazz legend Bob Barnard and bass legend Jonathon Zwartz. I’ve got an album to mix of my band Gadjo Guitars with brilliant London based vocalist Nell Greco. Then there’s the finishing touches to recent work done with maestro Shenzo Gregorio and our new band Dukkah…I’ve got to get back to my rock soul funk blues project with vocalist Pat Powell. That’s with some brilliant guys as well. Touring with George Washingmachine and some of my favourite people coming up too … Coffee….!!

In the first two months of 2016 I’ve played as far away as Fiji, Vanautu and Queensland. I’ve recorded 3 albums worth of material with maestro violinist/multi instrumentalist Shenzo Gregorio. Gadjo Guitars have recorded with UK based vocalist Nell Greco. There’s a CD coming out that I’m on with a bunch of great Australian guitar players including Jeff Lang and Michael Fix playing old Australian songs. This week I head to Canberra and Victoria with The Date Brothers.. Lots more action coming up. Good to be a busy musician…
